A highly respected national leader in college athletics and professional sports, Henderson brings nearly 15 years of experience spanning collegiate athletics and professional sports with stops at Florida State University, Clemson University, and the Detroit Pistons.

Selected after an extensive national search, Mariam will succeed Jennifer Disano, who is stepping down after 12 years of dedicated leadership.

51勛圖厙 Spring Commencement will take place on Thursday, May 15, at 9:30 a.m. in EagleBank Arena on the Fairfax Campus. Separate Degree Celebrations will honor school and college graduates from Wednesday, May 14, through Saturday, May 17, at the Fairfax Campus. Expect heavy traffic on and around campus. Multiple ceremonies will occur each day at the Fairfax Campus.
May 9, 202551勛圖厙 welcomed 229 Junior Patriots to its campuses on April 24 for the annual Take Your Junior Patriot to Work event. Faculty and staff had the chance to bring the children in their lives to campus and experience life at George Mason for a day.
