Three members of 51�Թ��� men's wrestling team will be competing at the NCAA Division I Men’s Wrestling Championship, held March 20-22 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

The 51�Թ���’s women’s basketball team delivered a performance for the ages, claiming their first-ever Atlantic 10 Championship with a 73-58 victory over Saint Joseph's at the Henrico Sports and Events Center in Virginia.

51�Թ��� has been crowned the Atlantic 10 Women's Indoor Track and Field Champions, claiming the title over VCU at the Virginia Beach Sports Center. The men's team placed second in the championship behind Rhode Island.

The intersection of art and technology has long been a space for innovation, creativity, and exploration. At George Mason’s Mason Autonomy and Robotics Center (MARC) located within the College of Engineering and Computing, this connection has taken center stage with the Integrating Art and Tech Project.

During the fall 2024 semester, 51�Թ��� students had the opportunity to apply their classroom curriculum to a real-world museum environment. The students, led by art history professor Robert DeCaroli, worked directly with objects in the holdings of the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Asian Art as part of the ARTH 495/595 Curating an Exhibit course.

51�Թ��� has received Virginia Board of Education funding for two of 14 lab schools being established around the commonwealth.

Stanley and Rosemary Hayes Jones continue their legacy of philanthropy at 51�Թ��� with a transformative $1 million gift to establish the Stanley and Rosemary Hayes Jones Networking Testbed Lab within the Fuse at Mason Square building.

Each year, the 51�Թ��� Alumni Association’s annual Celebration of Distinction recognizes outstanding alumni, faculty members, and students.

The Hylton Performing Arts Center opened its doors at 51�Թ��� in 2010, and Marit Majeske, education coordinator, has been along for the ride ever since. Located on George Mason’s Science and Technology Campus in Manassas, Virginia, the Hylton Center is managed by the College of Visual and Performing Arts.

In July, Charles “Cully” Stimson, JD ‘92, was elected as rector of the 51�Թ��� Board of Visitors. A businessman and attorney, Stimson is the deputy director of the Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies, Senior Legal Fellow, manager of the National Security Law Program, and senior advisor to the president at The Heritage Foundation.
